At its core are Team Gullit's talented professional esports players, who have proven themselves to be among the most promising talents in FIFA. Our supporting team consists of trainers and coaches with different backgrounds, but with a shared love for both esports and football.
Through the Team Gullit academy, we focus on creating the best atmosphere, providing the best training options and creating the best tools for our talents, to enable them to succeed and to develop themselves as players.
I ended up in the world of FIFA because of my two sons. One of them plays professional football and my other son enjoys playing FIFA more than playing football in real life. When I visited the FIFA World Championships last year, I realized that there is such an enormous world behind the video game.
November 2017, qualification time for the FUT Champions Cup. After ranking within the top 64 multiple times over the past year, this had to be the time to really show my potential. Winning was the only option. I ended up as 31st of the world; I guaranteed myself a ticket for Barcelona.
I've always been a pretty solid contender in FIFA, but really started to get the hang of it when Weekend League started. I needed some time to adjust, but ever since I reached my first monthly TOP100, I got on a streak.
After I ended up going out in the semi-finals of the Dutch Championship in 2016, I decided to start playing with earplugs and music. I could say that both Imagine Dragons and Bastille have contributed in qualifying for Barcelona, haha. Ever since I started playing with music, my results have improved!
I’ve acquired quite a decent amount of experience in the last two years. During this time I have been working hard on getting better and it has paid off! After attending the FIFA Interactive World Cup on FIFA 17, my goal is to reach even further in the coming years.
Having qualified for my first EA event at the end of FIFA ’18, I feel confident. I will still need to focus on upping my game another level, and on becoming a consistent qualifier. Besides my competitive journey, I try to focus on growing my YouTube channel.
